How will I know if my grant has been accepted?
All applications will be acknowledged in writing and then referred to the CE State Council. The council will determine which projects will be funded and to what amount. Applicants will be told of the outcome as soon as possible after the Council meets.

What do I do once I’ve finished?
Successful applicants are asked to submit a Grants Completion Form at the conclusion of the funding project and use this to share about their project at camp or the AGM. We hope that this would help inspire others to think and act creatively.

If my grant is approved, how will I get my money?
A cheque or EFT for the approved amount will accompany the notification.

Can I get help with my grant?
Of course! Ask the people who will be working on the project with you – friends, parents, youth leader, chaplain, pastor, CE camp leader – to help.

Look at ‘Previous Grants’ forideas and direction.

You can also get help filling out your application form by contacting us at least 2 weeks before the deadline. The earlier the better! Contact us.

Can I apply more than once a year?
We love that you’re eager, but we also want to encourage others to be creative by giving them funds to get their projects happening. This means that it is possible that you and your project will only get funding once a year.

Why didn’t my grant get approved?
Hopefully we let you know why your grant didn’t get approved, but just in case here are some common reasons:
– It didn’t encourage one of the CE Network practices (renewal, worship, community, service or mission);
– You didn’t show that there is a need for your project;
– You haven’t been part of the CE community before;
– The project had already finished;
– Your request was for general fundraising.
If you’re still unsure, contact us. Maybe we can help you submit your application for the next round of grants.
