Well, it is that time of year again…Late September – you know what that means!
Registrations for Senior CE Camp 2012 are now officially open.
For all of you campers who have attended camp before, you’ll be getting something exciting in the mail very soon, which will tell you all that you need to know about camp this year. For those of you who are NEW to Christian Endeavour South Australia… let me fill you in on what CE Camp is all about this year!
CE CAMP 2012 – Who’s YOUR Hero?
This year we will be having a SUPER time… Superheroes is the theme for the camp…so get excited! We shall have some more uber cool stuff coming up soon which will shed some light on the theme for camp.
Our guest speaker this year is Tim Hawkins – some of you may remember his name, or his face…he has been a super guest on CE Camp in the past, and we’re really excited that he is coming back this year! Tim will be speaking on a chapter from the Book of Romans, chapter 8 to be exact…titled – I’M A WINNER! Some of you may already know bits about Romans 8, it is a fantastic section in the Letter to the Romans.
The nitty gritty.
Camp is located at Cornerstone College, Mt Barker…if you’re not sure where that is…pop it into google maps, or just click here.
Times for arrival / departure: Please be sure to arrive between 0900 and 0945 on the 29th of December, be prompt! Otherwise you’ll miss out on a quick registration and a camp tour! And departure is from 4pm on the 2nd of January.
Please bring:
• Warm sleeping bag or bedding (the evenings can be quite cold in the hills; therefore warm clothes and bedding may be needed.)
• Pillow
• Portable mattress or bed (single only)
• Toiletries
• Towel
• Hat and sunscreen
• Outdoor shoes
• Bible and writing implements
• Small change for fines, and other money if you would like to access the canteen and/or bookstall
• $3 for testing any electrical items (testing is compulsory if you want to use them)
• Swimming gear (note there is a pool fee)
• Money for this year’s mission
Do not bring:
• Alcohol, drugs, cigarettes
• Matches, lighters, fireworks
• Skateboards
• Valuable items you can’t afford to lose
If you bring your mp3 player/iPod or mobile phone you will only be allowed access to them for one hour in the afternoon each day and will not have access to them at other times.
Payment Details and Camp Costs.
Fees for camp have not changed in a few years, they are:
Early Bird: $190 – If paid before November…
but if you pay between 1st Nov and the 4th of Dec – $210.
If paid AFTER December 4th – you’re a late goose! – $220.
For multiple campers, we do offer a discounted price…
2 children = $30 off the total cost
3 children = $60 off the total cost
4 or more children = $90 off the total cost.
Payment for camp can now be made online. Please camper name/s (e.g. John Smith) in explanation field when making online payment. Also please indicate date payment was made and account number on the camper form before sending to us.

A consent form is required by ALL CAMPERS, so please download it here and then send in your signed form ASAP, with your FULL NAME and the date when you registered. If you do not sign and send in the consent form, then we cannot accept your registration! So please do not forget to do so!
